CHILI con CARNE

In a Dutch oven cook beef,
onion, green pepper, and garlic till meat is browned. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
Serving Ideas: Serve with Beer. |

Comments: Gets better after sitting in the fridge a couple of days. Consider making a double batch. |
